DJing is a very subjective performance and everyone has different preferences and tastes in music, playing for large crowds of people is difficult as everyone has their own reasons for liking certain music, and disliking other music. This is where hiring an experienced DJ becomes a must. Otherwise your DJ will just be randomly selecting music from a list, without any reason for each song choice. If a DJ can read a crowd well, and can mix music masterfully, then they can control your crowd and the energy.
